Loser’s guide to getting a girlfriend
This was an incredibly entertaining project. It’s not often you get an opportunity to create a book that is all-in-all wild and weird. This was that opportunity, and I decided to push it to the extremes in all directions. This book was a cumulation of a boat load of design styles that I just needed to get down on paper.
I needed an illustration style that was just as weird as the guide itself. The main character “Bobby” (that’s the name i gave him in my head) needed to be a real goober and a disgusting slob to really get the point across. There are a lot of intricate pieces to this book that make me really happy to see when I look back. Hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed making it.
